TopGolf Houston

Applications: Exterior Shades, Facades
Mesh: Scale
Attachment: Eyebolt
We chose Cambridge’s stainless steel mesh system for the TopGolf Houston’s facade because it’s versatile and also serves a dual function, at night for example the metal mesh creates the backdrop of a sophisticated light show, and during the day it protects an interior decorative stair from full sun exposure. Cambridge was willing to help us create the exact design we wanted within their product line.

The first TopGolf to open in Houston, the new entertainment complex is the Dallas-based company’s largest in the country with 102 hitting bays on 3 levels, multiple bars, an open air roof terrace with private bar, and multiple meeting rooms.  The 65,000-square foot venue is not only sprawling, its sleek profile suggests something extraordinary. Meanwhile, the entrance makes guests feel like VIPs thanks in part to a Cambridge Architectural exterior mesh cladding system that shades the building during the day and reflects the glow of colored spotlights at night.

Combining stunning aesthetics and crucial functionality, the Cambridge solution eliminates the problem of sacrificing looks for performance. The Eclipse™ attachment hardware uses tension to keep mesh panels of Mid-Balance in place and reflect the harsh Texas sun from the glass walls on each side.  Woven metal mesh's open area allows optimal solar shading while keeping the open view intact for customers inside and providing a beautiful reflective surface for modern lighting accents.

Cambridge applications combine superior aesthetics with high-quality performance, eliminating the need for additional materials. Additionally, Cambridge’s metal fabric panels were specifically engineered to fit the structure’s open areas, ensuring a successful and issue-free installation.

Cambridge’s stainless steel mesh facade system contributes to the excitement of the TopGolf facility by holding up very well in the natural environment and, as a result, maintaining its pristine look for many years to come.  Many of Cambridge Architectural's mesh solutions, such as Top Golf, can contribute to meeting LEED® requirements, specifically in the NC (New Construction) category. Cambridge Architectural is an active member of the USGBC®.
