Our flexible mesh, handcrafted and woven on industrial looms, can be bent or formed for custom-sized exterior and interior building applications. Most commonly installed for exterior cladding projects using T316 stainless steel or aluminum, the mesh patterns range in open areas from 29% to 82% depending on the desired aesthetic and the level of shading, visibility and ventilation needed for the project. Cambridge mesh is readily recyclable and manufactured from reused materials with a cold forming process that generates less environmental impact. As an active member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), we help clients take maximum advantage of LEED credits in the many categories for which metal mesh applies.
"The architectural mesh’s transparency created a visually lightweight and dramatic textural surface on the building during the day, and at night, the fabric was dense enough to reflect warm hued LED lighting integrated into the panel design. Cambridge was very helpful in the design and execution of both the mesh and lighting details, which met all of our requirements."
